26.02.2010: 2nd round winners of the German Spitzencluster competition awarded
Award Ceremony as a highlight of the Cluster-Conference 2010 in Berlin
The excellence cluster competition is intended to take Germany to the top of the league of technologically advanced nations. The Federal Ministry of Education and Research launched the competition in the summer of 2007 under the slogan "Germany's excellence clusters - more innovation, more growth, more employment". The high-performance clusters formed by business and science that enter into strategic partnerships are set to boost Germany's innovative strengths and economic success.
The 2nd round winners announced during the Clusterconference 2010 in Berlin are:
- Software-Cluster, Hessen, Rheinland-Pfalz, Saarland, Baden-Württemberg
- Münchner Biotech Cluster - m4, Bayern Dr. Georg Kääb
- Medical Valley Europäische Metropolregion Nürnberg, Bayern
- MicroTEC Südwest, Baden-Württemberg
- EffizienzCluster LogistikRuhr, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Hessen
